With nearly 25 years teaching experience, Karla Groesbeck has a wealth of information in the body movement, meditation, Qigong and martial aspects of Tai Chi, Yang and Chen style. As a Manager of Crazy Wisdom Bookstore in the late 90’s, she enjoyed the company of, and learning opportunities with, many dignitaries of the Ann Arbor spiritual community including Tibetan and Zen Buddhist teachers, as well as masters of Western esoteric traditions.
Her mentors are internationally renowned Chungliang Al Huang of Living Tao, Han Hoong Wang – midwest representative of the official Yang Family – Michigan Tai Chi Center, Wasentha Young – Peaceful Dragon School of Tai Chi, Sam Massich – Massich Internal Arts, Ken Gullette – Internal Fighting Arts, and local treasure – Steve Harrigan – Staggerin’ Dragon. She is the owner and founder of Tai Chi Love Studio, and a popular instructor/presenter at many venues in Detroit, Ann Arbor, Chelsea and throughout Washtenaw County.
With hundreds of students over the years, she innovates internal empowerment training, as well as Tai Chi solo, two-person and weapons forms.
